Play as Captain Falcon To play as Captain Falcon, beat the game in less than 20 minutes. After that Captain Falcon will challenge you. Beat him and he will become a selectable character.
Play as Jigglypuff To unlock Jigglypuff, beat the game and then you will face Jigglypuff in a battle. Beat him and he will become available.

Extra points for each level The following trick may be used to get an extra 100 points in each level. Defeat your opponent in one player mode. Press L to taunt just before he dies. Ness's Reflection Ness can absorb the attacks and thats already good enough but if you ever want to reflect you can use Ness`s baseball ball (Ness`s smash attack) to reflect it. You need perfect timing to do this. Plus Ness`s Smash attack is totally offensive. It either counters, reflects, damages or kills. Submitted by Gnow89.
Get Up Quicker For Some More Action The Z button is the defensive button. It shields. But of you are doing a Down+A attack in the air, you can land quicker with the Z button. Also if you get knocked on to land you can hit Z and backflip up. Submitted by Gnow89.
Kirby`s Power Loss If you happen to swallow up a bad character`s B power, you can lose the power by hitting the L button. This will use up a second or two so do it when your opponent(s) are a good distance from you. Submitted by Gnow89.
Sudden Death If an opponent is trying to get back up to the arena, use an attack or item to knock them back. If you are trying to knock a spinning kong (Donkey Kong`s Up + B move) away, go for the chest or legs. His spinning arms will counter your attacks. Submitted by Gnow89.
